Wrangell Port and Harbors - A Warm and Friendly Harbor in the Heart of Southeast Alaska

Wrangell is located in central southeast Alaska in one of the richest resource, recreational and scenic locations in the Inside Passage. The Community has just over 2000 residents, and offers cruise passengers a unique experience and look into the lives of Alaskans. A variety of excursions offer visitors opportunities to fish and hike, view wildlife and glaciers, experience Tlingit Indian tribal culture, walk amongst ancient rock carvings and majestic totems, and participate in adventure activities. The Wrangell Museum and Visitor Center are located downtown in the Nolan Center in the heart of downtown, only one block from the cruise dock.
The Cruise Ship Dock is a t-shaped dock located at the north end of downtown. The dock face is 405 feet with a breasting pier head of 565 feet and an additional stern mooring dolphin 225 feet off the northeast end of the dock, allowing accommodation of ships +/-950 feet. The inside face permits moorage for smaller cruise ships and also contains a u-shaped summer float for charter vessels to load and unload passengers.

We look forward to providing that special Alaska experience for your passengers.
